The Next Generation AeroWave X provides worldwide in-flight internet connectivity. AeroWave X allows pilots and passengers to send and receive text messages and emails, browse the web and make phone calls. It uses the Inmarsat satellite network to enable seamless communication anywhere in the world.

The AeroWave X is comprised of Honeywell’s unique Small SATCOM system with active low-gain antenna, and the proven Honeywell GoDirect Router. The Small SATCOM system provides a single-channel of Inmarsat’s SwiftBroadband global Class 15 Background IP, while the GoDirect Router adds in Wi-Fi and cellular capability, providing seamless connectivity.

The AeroWave X Satcom System weighs 30% less than the next-smallest system on the market capable of providing 200 kbps connectivity. Similarly, Honeywell’s GoDirect router offers lower weight and requires 40% lower power as compared to alternative routing solutions, requiring only 30 watts during operation.
