Fixed Gear airplane customers: The 200-C model has become the preferred choice for flight schools and safety-conscious pilots who transition between different aircraft types. By installing the 200-C in fixed-gear aircraft alongside a secondary “dummy” gear switch, operators can maintain critical muscle memory and reinforce standard GUMPS cockpit checks. This configuration allows pilots to physically simulate gear extension on every landing, ensuring that the vital habit of verifying gear-down status remains ingrained regardless of the airframe. Whether for personal proficiency or standardized fleet training, the 200-C provides a seamless bridge between fixed and retractable gear operations.
This Landing Height System is FAA-approved for installations on FAA-certified airplanes.
It includes a built-in eye-safe Class 1 Laser (Light Detection and Ranging) along with an audio interface system so height announcements can be heard when coming to land.

- Night landings especially when not current.
- When transitioning from a slower/trainer airplane to a higher-performance airplane.
