The GMU 22 triaxial magnetometer is a remote-mounted device that interfaces with an Air Data, Attitude Heading Reference System (ADAHRS), such as GSU 25 and GSU 25B, to provide flight attitude and heading data for flight instrumentation. ADAHRS and GMU 22 replace traditional rotating mass instruments.
Using long-life solid-state sensing technology, the GMU 22 magnetometer uses magnetic field measurements to create an electronically stabilized heading reference.
