The FireFrost 225R system brings the latest technology in fire safety to the aviation industry. The clean agent NOVEC 1230 is non-toxic, non-corrosive and non ozone depleting, so much that it is approved by the EPA and SFI Foundation that it is trusted to protect high value assets like major IT servers, Formula Racing Drivers and their cars, and many other assets worldwide.

This system was designed by a Cirrus pilot, mechanic and engineers for you the Cirrus SR series owner. The remote discharge non pressurized bottle mounts discretely in your baggage compartment (color matched cover included) occupying the space smaller than a 2 liter bottle of soda. The system directly connects to the aircraft backup battery and no power or other interconnects are required. To activate just remove the fuel source, lift the cover and press the conveniently located FIRE button next to your ignition switch. Immediately the bottle activates attacking the engine compartment with a heat absorbing clean agent. Since fire and combustion require oxygen, fuel and heat, our system fills the compartment with the liquid to gas that fills all available volume. The critical function of the system is that it does NOT remove oxygen, it has no corrosive chemicals that harm your engine and clean up is a breeze because it evaporates after a short time.

But what about maintenance?

Each year a simple visual inspection of the system and lines and continuity check the activation connector is the only required inspection. After that only a 5 year factory inspection is required and it can usually be done for less than $1,000.
