The AIU-900D includes the SP13 transformer for interfacing the GDU700 and GDU1060 to the 1C388, 1C388C, 1C388M and the 1C388MC.
The AIU-900 is a pre-assembled autopilot interface unit following the interconnect specifications and component requirements recommended by the manufacturers of certain PFD systems when interfaced with existing 1C388 series autopilot couplers. This unit is intended to provide a convenient solution in a single device with multiple variations for installers to use in place of producing the same circuits from discrete components as specific in PFD installation manuals.
