PS Engineering announcing the PMA450
PS Engineering has announced the PMA450 at EAA Airventure Oshkosh 2014. The PMA450 offers an easy to use solution for general aviation pilots facing simultaneous radio signals. With technology originally invented for fighter pilots, and a user interface developed around feedback from the aviation community, PS Engineering is confident the PMA450 has the functionality and usability any pilot could ask for in an audio panel.
IntelliAudio®, a digital communications interface, provides the ability to place sounds in various dimensions within the crew's stereo headset. IntelliAudio® allows placement of Com 1 and Com 2 in any position designated by a Blue Dot, within the stereo headset. This makes simultaneous radio signals appear to come from different locations. Com 1 and Com 2 audio can be placed in 9 unique positions, allowing the pilot to configure the placement so that they can best concentrate on the radio of choice while ignoring the radio that's unimportant at the time.
