The GTX 45R w/GPS offers a simplified unit installation and wiring process, while also providing all the weather and traffic benefits of ADS-B “In” and Connext wireless cockpit integration. Utilizing its built-in WAASGPS for ADS-B position source information, the GTX 45R w/GPS provides aircraft owners without a WAAS GPS source a simple solution to meet ADS-B “Out” requirements while removing the need for the GPS 20A.
The remote-mounted GTX 45R w/GPS integrates with G3X Touch flight displays, allowing users to change their squawk code, view ADS-B "In" traffic, and receive FIS-B weather directly on their displays. The built-in Connext capability of the GTX 45R gives customers the option to wirelessly receive ADS-B “In” information to their portable units as well, including Garmin Aera portables and compatible apps such as Garmin Pilot and ForeFlight Mobile.
