Appareo Releases the New Stratus ES Transponder

Meet Appareo's new transponder, Stratus ES.

While Stratus ESG was designed with built-in WAAS GPS, Stratus ES was designed to integrate with Garmin and Avidyne Navigators - providing a more affordable ADS-B Out solution for aircraft owners who have already invested in a WAAS GPS navigator.

At $2,495 MSRP, Stratus ES is one of general aviation's most affordable panel-mounted 1090 ES transponders for ADS-B Out compliance.

Stratus ES integrates with the following navigators for 2020 compliance:

• Garmin 430W, 530W, 650, 750
• Avidyne IFD440, IFD540

Stratus ES will be available for purchase upon certification, which is expected this fall.
