The SV-ADAHRS-201 Secondary ADAHRS is intended to enhance safety by providing a suite of MEMS sensors redundant to your SV-ADAHRS-200 Primary ADAHRS. SkyView, when it detects that both the Primary and the Secondary ADAHRS are installed in the system, will automatically begin comparing the primary against the secondary ADAHRS. If ever one one module differs from the other, SkyView will notify you of this discrepancy, and allow you to identify and select the correctly functioning ADAHRS Module to use for the remainder of the flight.
Note that you must have at least one SV-ADAHRS-200 installed in your system in order for the SV-ADAHRS-201 to provide redundant functionality.
The SkyView Air Data/Attitude/Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) modules processes raw sensor data, from which SkyView then generates the following information for display on screen:
- Artificial Horizon/Synthetic Vision display,
- Gyro-Stabilized Heading indicator
- Indicated and True Airspeed indicators
- Altitude, and Vertical Speed indicators
- Slip/Skid, Turn Rate
- Angle of Attack indicators
- Flight Path Marker
- Winds Aloft speed and direction indicators.
The SV-OAT-340 Outside Air Temperature (OAT) sensor is included with each SkyView ADAHRS Module.
- You may have one, two, or more ADAHRS in your SkyView System. If one fails, the backup ADHARS will provide data to the SkyView Display(s).
- Provides the data necessary to drive the Artificial Horizon/Synthetic Vision, Airspeed, Altitude, Vertical Speed, Slip, Turn Rate, Angle of Attack, and Gyro-Stabilized Heading. Additionally, Outside Air Temperature is obtained from the SV-OAT-340 Sensor which is connected to the ADHARS Module.
