IN-FLIGHT CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) EXPOSURE CAN BE HAZARDOUS
Monitor CO levels in your aircraft with the GCO 14 carbon monoxide detector. It enables select Garmin avionics and flight displays to provide prompt alerting should CO exposure reach potentially harmful levels for cabin occupants.

INTEGRATES MONITORING OF CO LEVELS INTO SELECT GARMIN AVIONICS

AVIONICS CAN PROVIDE BOTH VISUAL AND AURAL ALERTS1

ADDS CO LEVELS TO FLIGHT LOG TO TRACK CO TRENDS OVER TIME

COMPACT REMOTE UNIT ATTACHES EASILY TO AVIONICS

LONG SENSOR LIFE OF UP TO 10 YEARS

MEETS FAA TSO-C48A FOR USE IN CERTIFIED AIRCRAFT

AN INVISIBLE THREAT
You can’t taste it, smell it or see it. But CO, when inhaled and absorbed into the bloodstream, blocks the blood’s ability to carry oxygen — quickly leading to impairment of key mental and physical functions.
DETECT TO PROTECT
CO typically enters the cockpit via a leak in the aircraft’s exhaust or cabin heating systems. GCO 14 detects CO, providing alerts if levels become a hazard to aircraft occupants.
MONITOR AND LOG CO LEVELS
Easily view and track CO trends over time. Plus, with a GDL 60 datalink, you can automatically offload your flight logs, including CO data, to your flyGarmin account.
GET VISUAL AND AURAL ALERTS
Visual alerts flash a "CO Level" or "CO" text readout on the display. An aural alert, "Carbon Monoxide," can also be triggered when the avionics are connected to an audio panel1.
CUSTOMIZABLE ADVISORIES
To supplement preset alert thresholds, custom advisories can activate a CO message at pilot-selectable limits.
AN INTEGRATED SOLUTION
Compatible with our GTN™ Xi navigators as well as GI 275 digital MFD and HSI flight instruments2, the GCO 14 CO detector can also leverage our TXi™ flight displays for CO alerting.

EASY REMOTE INSTALLATION
The small, lightweight GCO 14 module fits easily behind your panel. It can be easily installed, often as simply as being attached to your existing wiring harness. It also includes the required installation wiring in the box.
LONG SENSOR LIFESPAN
GCO 14 has a sensor life expectancy of up to 10 years. When needed, GCO 14 can be easily disconnected and replaced via a 4-pin connector.
1 GI 275 compatibility for only GI 275 HSI and
MFD.
2 Aural CO alerts require connection to a
compatible audio panel.
