Garmin Adds GFC™ 500 Aircraft Approvals
Garmin is pleased to announce completed STCs for the GFC 500 autopilot in select Cirrus SR22 models and select Cessna 206 models. Intended for qualifying piston aircraft weighing less than 6,000 lbs., the GFC 500 delivers superior in-flight characteristics, self-monitoring capabilities, and minimal maintenance needs when compared to older-generation autopilot systems.
GFC 500 Now Approved for Cessna 206 C, D, E, & F
This amendment approves the installation of the GFC 500 in the following 206 models: C, D, E, and F. In addition to these models, previous GFC approvals also include the U206F (S/N U20602200 and later), TU206F (S/N U20602200 and later), U206G, TU206G, 206H, and T206H models.
GFC 500 Now Approved for Select Cirrus SR22 and SR22 Turbo Models
