The RCR-650 is a TSO'd, solid state, panel mounted ADF receiver.  The Collins RCR-650 ADF Receiver is the original ADF for the Microline series.

The RCR-650 may be used with the following equipment:
  • Collins IND-650 ADF Indicator
  • Collins ANT-650A Combined Loop / Sense ADF Antenna
  • Panel-mounted ADF receiver that provides relative bearing center line of aircraft and selected ground station
  • Provides output to aircraft audio system for verifying station identifier and AM reception
  • Solid-state band switches
  • Digital tuning eliminates the need to "zero beat" tune
  • Built-in self-test function
  • Internal lighting
  • Has single/concentric power/volume knob, ident filter, and mode control
  • Used with ANT-650A combined-loop sense antenna
  • Used with IND-650/650A single-pointer ADF indicator
  • Can be used with ARINC standard RMI with ADA-650 RMI adapter
  • Similar to RCR-650A but DOES NOT have product improvement for increased accuracy and reliablility of RCR-650A (RCR-650/650A are not interchangeable due to difference in size)
