Both Nav and Comm frequency displays on these units include the popular "flip-flop" preselect feature. Large, self-dimming, microprocessor-controlled gas discharge readouts and solid-state electronic tuning provide fast, accurate selection of all 200 Nav and 760 Comm frequencies as well as a built-in 40-channel glideslope receiver.
The KI 209 VOR/LOC/Glideslope Indicator with built-in VOR/LOC converter has pivoted needle action, a plastic lens and internal lighting. It requires input from an external glideslope receiver.
