The FDMEDPLR-3QR and FDMEDPLR-CBL system is an iPod adapter that allows an iPod to be connected to an aircraft’s entertainment system. The adapter is designed to mount inside of a side wall or under a drink rail with the quick release receptacle panel mounted in a convenient location to connect the removable cable. The unit outputs both audio and video for use with the aircrafts entertainment system. The FDMEDPLR-CBL is a 60-inch cable that connects between the quick release receptacle and to the iPod. The FDMEDPLR-CBL may be removed and stowed in a drink rail tray or side wall compartment. The FDMEDPLR-3QR & FDMEDPLR-CBL system will also charge the iPod allowing use throughout longer flights. Left and right channel volume may be adjusted independently through access holes in the top cover. Compatible with Apple devices; iPad, iPhone, iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod touch, and iPod classic.
