Aviation's Panel Mount Avionics Installation Leader

With revolutionary Telligence™ Voice Command, 3-D audio processing, revolutionary auto squelch functionality and much more, Garmin’s GMA 350H digital audio panel was designed from bottom up to reduce a rotorcraft pilot’s workload.

Listen in Virtual 3-D

Advanced processing in the GMA 350H adjusts audio in the headset to mimic how the human ear normally hears and registers sounds in space. This 3-D Audio feature makes it seem as though different audio sources are coming from different directions around you. Now it's much easier to focus on and understand one particular source from among many. For example, COMM 1 will seem to be coming from the left while COMM 2 may seem to be coming from the right.

Operate Hands Free

With built-in Telligence Voice Command, the GMA 350H helps decrease pilot workload. You can now operate your audio panel without taking your hands off the controls. To do something like switching between COMMs, just press a dedicated “push to command” button on the flight controls and say “MIC 1” or “MIC 2.”

Distribute Audio Around the Cockpit

The GMA 350H makes in-flight entertainment easy. The system allows you to permanently wire up to two dedicated input sources into the rear connectors, like your XM satellite music receiver and an auxiliary music device. A 3.5 mm jack on the front also provides easy access for portable audio devices like MP3 players or mobile phones. With the GMA 350H’s “blue-select” mode, the pilot can control which headset positions have access to which audio sources – your passengers can enjoy music while you listen to radio communications or make private full-duplex telephone calls. The system’s intuitive front panel layout features cursor control and volume indicator for easy operation.

Experience Advanced Auto Squelch and Automatic Volume Control

The first of its kind to work in the challenging helicopter noise environment, the auto squelch capability in the GMA 350H adapts to a quiet or noisy cockpit without clipping words or cutting out in the middle of phrases. An internal microphone senses also ambient noise and adjusts the cockpit speaker volume level accordingly. By analyzing the ambient noise level, the system can also adjust audio volumes for the headsets (when configured to do so at the time of installation).

Enjoy Advanced Features

The GMA 350H offers 3 COMM support, as well as a flexible split COMM mode that allows the pilot and copilot to broadcast on separate COMMs. Split COMM support is available for positions 1/2, 1/3 or 2/3.

The system's green lighting is compatible with night vision goggles. And should you ever miss an ATC call or frequency assignment, don’t worry -- Garmin’s automatic digital voice recorder is also built in, which continuously captures the last 2.5 minutes of audio for playback.
